People, Glaciers are remnants of the Ice Age (singular). Glaciers are ice, ice melts, and it's NOT going to remain frozen, as much as you and I enjoy being in awe of it. The same goes for geological landforms, mountain ranges, plateaus, plains, hills, valleys, slopes, canyons, and alluvial fans. They all erode over time, such as a plateau becoming a mesa, a mesa becomes a butte, and a butte becomes a spire. Again, as much as we enjoy Bryce and Zion National Park and its jaw dropping canyons, spires and arches, those features are going to disappear over time. Some have already collapsed, and the same for other reknown features around the world. Climate change accelerating melting glaciers? As much as the media likes to claim that, statistics just don't show significant evidence of that. Sure we need to be conscious of obvious environmental neglect but, relax everyone, ice melts, and dirt erodes. Enjoy it while you can.

That was such a great interview with two amazing living legends. The first question had me in stitches and the ending with Jimmy and Chai's next film had me teary eyed. Looking forward to watching it.

The problem with climate change is we are beings with an extremely short lifespan trying to make sense of cycles that are thousands of years long. The Earth is technically still on its way out of a mini ice age, so it's no wonder the glaciers are retreating and weather patterns are changing. There's been times where the global has been hotter and life has flourished more than any other periods we are aware of. We need to be more flexible with dealing with ocean levels rising, rather than watching govt banning farmers that grow our food because "cow farts" while they simultaneously create wars across the globe and fly private jets everywhere.

The virtue signaling about climate change from so many high profile people these days is becoming so sickening. Anyone who travels around the world countless times a year on airplanes to go have fun shouldn't be wagging fingers or even talking about it for one damn second. Such hypocrisy. The climate is changing. So what? I guess you can hop on board with the highly politicized agenda and advocate for all this green nonsense, but if you have an ounce of intelligence then you'll know that you are dooming some of the poorest people on the planet, which is basically all of us now. You want to be energy poor? Go ahead and support your corrupt governments and unwitting stooges like Honnold and see how you enjoy your freedom of movement be curtailed. But sure, elites like Honnold and Chin will be able to continue flying around the world having fun.. but YOU can't, and you'll have to sit there and watch them as they tell you that YOU and YOUR consumption are the problem. They'll get their government grants to film their exploits to promote THE MESSAGE, but shame on you peasants for even thinking about hopping in a car to travel to your local mountains. But to be honest, most of you simps reading this deserve what's coming. The last 4 years has served as a wealth transfer. Most of you will have played along with the whole charade. Whether you like it or not, your freedom of movement and the freedom to do as you wish is vanishing day by day. You all deserve it.
